Interests And Hobbies

Hockey

One of my favourite past times is hockey. I played in the OAC Student vs Teacher hockey game in my last year of high school. I was also involved in "Hedden Hall Hockey" which was a co-ed street hockey league involving students in residence. I also organized some street hockey games on the street I lived on during university with other students. I prefer to play goalie and have made my own equipment and hockey net.

Programming

I quite often do some programming on my own time. I have made a number of Visual Basic programs in my free time as well as a few C programs. Through designing web pages I have worked on a number of java scripts as well.

Comics

Drawing is another one of my interests and I am working on creating some comic strips like those found in the newspaper. Below is a picture of my comic Fortune Cookie. It is of a cynical owl who often states the blatently obvious.

Electronics

I became interested in electrical engineering in high school after tearing apart many people's TVs and VCRs. I started out fixing them for people and eventually started modifying various electronics such as building a stereo recording device or building an amp into a speaker for portable sound.
